Received as a sample from Julie Ann Kodmur, 10/08/11.
Drank with friends after dinner, 01/26/12.
HaHV: "Brilliant, deep ruby-red in the glass with aromas of sweet leather and spice. Notes of caramel and black chocolate cherries, currents and plum. Smooth, sultry tannins and a luscious mouth-feel finish out the tasting experience. Intensely concentrated and perfect as an after dinner drink or sip with your favorite dark chocolate!

Color: Dark ruby with core, with ruby edges.
Nose: Sweet, white raisins, then with more of a very ripe black cherry, followed by a bit of sweeter toast.
Palate: Full and not too sweet, this shows good balance between the sweetness level and its acidity. Again, a white raisin intro leads into some vanilla and ripest black cherry fruit flavors, finishing with medium acidity and sweetness out into the finish.
